We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to support a thriving nursery in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years professional to lead a committed team, oversee the day-to-day running of the setting, and ensure the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a positive and nurturing environment where children can flourish and reach their full potential.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery
  • Ensure high standards of care, learning, and development in line with the EYFS framework
  • Manage, support, and motivate nursery staff to deliver outstanding childcare
  • Maintain compliance with Ofsted requirements, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and external agencies
  • Monitor occupancy, staffing levels, and nursery performance
  • Promote a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children


Essential Requirements

  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification as a minimum (Mandatory)
  • Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Children and Young People's Services, Early Years, or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Previous experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, or Senior Leadership role within an early years setting (Mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework, Ofsted requirements, safeguarding, and child development
  • A minimum of 24 months of referenceable work history within the last 5 years (Mandatory)
  • Professional references provided from company/professional email addresses only (Mandatory)
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work
