Nursery Manager

On behalf of an established independently-owned Nursery in Wimbledon, Remedicare are actively recruiting for an experienced Nursery Manager with a proven track record to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

• Monday to Friday
• £42,000 to £45,000 per annum

This welcoming Nursery is looking for a motivated and responsible Manager who will be able to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the setting. As Nursery Manager, you will lead a team to deliver outstanding care and education to all the children in your setting, and through inspirational leadership drive employee engagement, retention and performance.

In return you will be working with a stable and established employer who is more than willing to support and develop the right individual to become a successful Nursery Manager.

This is working full time, Monday to Friday, with flexible shift times on offer to the successful applicant and a base salary of £(phone number removed) per annum. (Negotiable for the right candidate)

Nursery Manager Skills and Experience:

• Level 3 or above in Early Years Education / Childcare or equivalent (Level 5 in Childcare or Management & Leadership is desirable but not essential)
• Preferably 2 or more years of managerial experience within a Nursery setting
• Have a thorough understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and recruitment
• An excellent communicator with experience in leading and motivating a varied staff team

Nursery Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the smooth daily running and high-quality practice of the nursery by maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and local and national guidelines
• Lead and inspire the staff team to provide outstanding childcare and education.
• Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff
• Regularly liaise with Parents and Carers to ensure a high level of involvement and satisfaction
