Nursery Nurse

A fantastic Early Years provision in Wandsworth Town is looking for an experienced and committed Nursery Nurse to join their team on a full-time basis, starting ASAP.

This is a great opportunity for a Nursery Nurse who genuinely enjoys working with young children and is looking to become a reliable and valued member of an Early Years team.

The successful candidate must have previous Early Years experience as well as experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEND).

• Support children across the Early Years provision with their learning, development and wellbeing.

• Provide additional support to children with SEND and individual learning needs.

• Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.

• Support engaging, play-based activities in line with the EYFS.

• Encourage children's communication, independence and social development.

• Work closely with teachers, Early Years practitioners and SEN staff.

• Assist with observations and monitoring children's progress.

• Support children's personal care where required.

• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

The school is looking for someone who:

• Has previous Early Years experience - essential.

• Has experience supporting children with SEND - essential.

• Is patient, caring and nurturing.

• Understands the importance of consistency and routine for young children.

• Is reliable, punctual and committed to the position.

• Can work effectively as part of a busy Early Years team.

• Is available to start ASAP and work full time.
