TeacherActive is delighted to be supporting a warm, welcoming and highly regarded Early Years setting in Maida Vale, London, with the recruitment of a caring, enthusiastic and energetic Nursery Nurse Level 3 for September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing setting where children are encouraged to explore, create, communicate and develop through purposeful play. The environment is bright, engaging and carefully designed to help every child feel safe, valued and excited to learn.

The successful Nursery Nurse Level 3 will play an important role in supporting children throughout their early development. You will help create stimulating activities, encourage independence, support communication and language development, and build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

You will work closely with the wider nursery team to plan and deliver engaging EYFS activities that promote learning across all areas of development. From messy play and storytelling to outdoor learning, phonics, creative activities and imaginative games, you will help make each day exciting, purposeful and memorable.

The setting is looking for someone who brings warmth, patience and genuine enthusiasm into the nursery. You should be confident supporting routines, observing children’s progress, contributing to learning journals and maintaining a safe, inclusive and well-organised environment.

The successful candidate will have:

• A Level 3 CACHE qualification in Early Years or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Experience working with children within an EYFS or nursery setting
• A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• A caring, patient and positive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning, wellbeing and development
• Paediatric First Aid training would be preferred
• A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
