Salary: £90–£110 per day

A lively and nurturing primary school in Croydon is seeking a qualified Nursery Nurse to join its Early Years provision. The setting celebrates curiosity, communication and independence, offering children a rich balance of adult-led learning and purposeful play.
As the Nursery Nurse, you will be a consistent key adult within the classroom, supporting children’s academic, social and emotional development. This long-term opportunity suits someone who combines sound EYFS knowledge with warmth, creativity and excellent organisation.
Key duties:
- Deliver engaging play-based learning indoors and outdoors
- Support early phonics, communication, number and fine-motor development
- Observe children and contribute accurate information to assessments
- Help pupils develop independence with routines and personal care
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Communicate professionally with staff and families
Essential requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, or an equivalent qualification
- Recent experience within nursery, preschool or Reception
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities
- A positive, calm and child-centred approach
- The right to work in the UK
