Salary: £14.25 - £16.25 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a lovely independent nursery in Stockport that is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their team. With a strong community feel and a supportive working environment, the nursery is committed to providing high-quality early years education while helping every child feel safe, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.

The nursery is looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner on a full-time, short-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children throughout their early years development, deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework and work closely with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (desirable)
• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting (essential)
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• A caring, patient and nurturing approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to get involved in all aspects of nursery life
