The role is based across a greenhouse and packhouse environment, working with herbal plants grown for medicinal purposes, including plants associated with medicinal products used in the treatment of leukaemia.
The Role
- Picking and harvesting plants
- Preparing plants for orders and dispatch
- Packing plants carefully and efficiently
- Working across the greenhouse and packhouse
- Checking plants meet quality standards
- Following procedures and instructions
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
- Monday to Friday
- 39 hours per week
- Various shift patterns available
- Full-time and part-time opportunities
- Shifts can start from around 6:00am
- Hours may change seasonally depending on business requirements
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- £12.85 per hour initially
- Increased rate once taken on permanently after 12 weeks
- Hours over 39 per week paid at time and a half
- Overtime available
