Working pattern:
- 3 days: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- 1 day: 8:00am – 5:30pm
About the role:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in shaping children’s early learning experiences. You’ll be supporting children under five through engaging, play-based learning, helping them grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence.
You’ll be working across different age groups within the nursery, collaborating with a friendly and experienced team, and contributing to a rich, stimulating environment where children can thrive.
What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and delivering fun, engaging activities that support the EYFS framework
- Supporting children’s learning through play, both indoors and outdoors
- Observing and tracking children’s development using nursery systems
- Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and carers
- Working closely with colleagues and external professionals to support individual needs
- Creating inspiring learning environments and displays
- Supporting daily routines and helping to maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing setting
- Taking part in team meetings, training, and nursery events
- Upholding safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality at all times
What we’re looking for:
- A Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- A positive, caring, and team-focused attitude
- Strong communication skills with children, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and education
