Nursery Practitioner

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification, or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Pay: up to £30,000 per annum. based on experience (40 hours per week).
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Full Time - 40 hours
Location: Headingley, Leeds.

About our Nursery

Built with the purpose of providing children with a safe and secure environment, The Nursery offers a welcoming space for all families. The nursery is a bright and spacious building, complemented by a beautiful garden area that encourages outdoor play and promotes active lifestyles among the children. Inside, there are three age-appropriate rooms, each led by a passionate and friendly team. These rooms have been thoughtfully designed to enhance children’s development according to their age group. Our nursery thrives on being unique, offering individualised learning to adapt to the needs of our children. 

What Your Role Involves

As a valued member of our team, you’ll:

• Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
• Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others
