About the Role

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming school-based nursery in Worthing from September. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive Early Years team, helping to create a nurturing and engaging environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and delivery of creative and engaging EYFS activities.
  • Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Encourage children's social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Observe, monitor, and record children's progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers.
  • Promote positive behaviour and inclusive learning opportunities.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
Requirements
  • A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
  • Previous experience working in a nursery, preschool, or school-based Early Years setting.
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, proactive, and caring approach to supporting young children.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
