Nursery Practitioner - Supply (Flexible Hours)

Location: Macclesfield
Contract: Flexible day-to-day supply and ongoing opportunities
Pay: £14-£15 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Premier Education Ltd is working with nurseries and early years settings across Macclesfield that require Nursery Practitioners for flexible supply work.

This is an excellent opportunity to work around your availability, whether you want a few days each week or more regular work. You'll gain experience in different settings while supporting children during their early development.

We're looking for nurturing, reliable practitioners who are confident working with children aged 0-5.



Responsibilities

  • Support the care and development of children aged 0-5
  • Assist with play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Create a safe, engaging and nurturing environment
  • Help with daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care
  • Work closely with nursery staff and early years teams
  • Observe and support children's learning and development


Requirements

  • Experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
  • Flexibility to work across different settings
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Two references covering the past two years
  • An enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Paediatric First Aid is preferred
