£15.00-£16.00 per hour | Full-Time

Are you an experienced Early Years Practitioner ready to step into a Room Leader position?

We're currently recruiting for a fantastic nursery in the Middlesbrough area looking for a passionate, confident and experienced Room Leader to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Years professional who wants to take the next step in their career, lead a team and make a real difference to children's learning, development and wellbeing.

As Room Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring children receive high-quality care, learning and development within a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting a team of Early Years Practitioners
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Supporting children's individual learning and development
• Ensuring strong EYFS practice throughout the room
• Maintaining excellent safeguarding and welfare standards
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Completing observations, assessments and planning
• Supporting and developing other members of the team
• Creating an exciting and inclusive environment where children can thrive

The ideal candidate will have:

• Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification
• Previous nursery or early years experience
• Previous Room Leader or senior practitioner experience is desirable
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• A reliable, proactive and positive approach
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and children's wellbeing

💰 £15.00-£16.00 per hour, depending on experience
