JCO Healthcare is delighted to be supporting a respected care provider with the appointment of a Home Manager for a recently opened nursing home on the Kent coast.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced care home leader to take the reins of a modern service during an exciting phase of development, helping to establish a strong culture, build occupancy and lead the home towards its first CQC inspection.

The Role

As Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the home, ensuring outstanding standards of care, regulatory compliance, team development and commercial success.

This role would suit an ambitious manager who enjoys building services, developing teams and driving high standards from the outset.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide visible and inspirational leadership
• Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing team
• Deliver exceptional resident outcomes and experiences
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Drive occupancy growth and community engagement
• Manage budgets and maintain commercial performance
• Prepare the service for future inspections and quality assurance processes

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager within elderly care
• Nurse qualification 
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Track record of delivering high-quality care services
• Commercial awareness and budget management experience

Package

• Up to £80,000 DOE
