I am looking for an Occupational Health Advisor, you’ll deliver a comprehensive range of occupational health services. From expert case management to conducting fitness assessments, health surveillance, and promoting health and wellbeing initiatives, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our clients and their employees.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing expert, evidence-based case management services, advising on attendance, fitness for work, and other occupational health matters.
- Writing professional, comprehensive, and evidence-based reports for a range of stakeholders.
- Delivering expert advice on occupational health legislation and best practices.
- Conducting health surveillance and fitness medicals in line with policies and protocols.
- Promoting health and wellbeing through tailored health promotion initiatives and individual advice.
- Offering services such as vaccinations, travel health advice, ergonomic assessments, and health education (where competent).
- Providing clinical supervision and support to team members, such as OH Technicians.
- Maintaining your NMC registration and committing to ongoing professional development.
What We Are Looking For:
We’re searching for a motivated and confident professional who is passionate about occupational health and health promotion and has the following experience:
- Registration with the NMC (Part 1).
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree/Diploma).
- Proficiency in spirometry, audiometry, general medicals, drug and alcohol screening
- Case management
- Fitness-for-role assessments
- Strong skills in health promotion, with the ability to engage and motivate others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding organisational and time management abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of data protection and confidentiality principles.
If you have the below, then that would be a bonus!
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health recorded on Part 3 of the NMC register.
- MSc in an OH-related field.
- Dual RN/RMN qualification.
- Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring OH students.
- Advanced IT skills and ergonomic advice expertise.
Location: Chelmsford
Hours: 37.5 hours
