This is a management role without direct line management responsibilities.

We’re recruiting for an Occupational Health Manager to join our leading client to look after the clinical coordination and operational delivery of their key client contract in Newcastle.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced OH professional who enjoys combining clinical expertise with contract management, stakeholder engagement and service improvement.

You’ll provide clinical leadership, coordination and support, working closely with the client and wider team to ensure a safe, effective and high-quality service.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Providing clinical oversight and coordinating day-to-day occupational health delivery
• Working closely with the Contract Operations Manager and Clinical Services Manager
• Acting as an expert OH advisor to the client, including Health & Safety and Wellbeing teams
• Leading on policy and clinical documentation reviews
• Supporting and mentoring less experienced Occupational Health Advisors
• Providing clinical input into complex case management
• Producing monthly reports for performance and contract reviews
• Identifying opportunities to improve and develop the service

About you

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Health professional who has:

Current NMC registration
Experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor
Occupational Health case management experience
Experience managing OH contracts
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of occupational health delivery
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

An Occupational Health qualification is desirable but not essential.
