Premier Work Support is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one of our longstanding clients for a Temporary Office Coordinator to join their friendly and supportive team based in Horsham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys a varied role. Working closely with the General Manager, you will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring administrative processes are completed accurately and operations run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Managing and updating pricing books.
  • Handling short-term hire enquiries and bookings.
  • Assisting with stock administration.
  • Liaising with drivers regarding operational queries and daily updates.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately.
  • Greeting customers and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Supporting bank holiday planning and staff holiday coordination.
  • Providing administrative support to the General Manager, including rota management.
  • Completing labelling and assisting with operational or production tasks during quieter periods when required.
  • Carrying out general administrative duties to support the wider business.
  • Full training will be provided.

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • A confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner.
  • Comfortable speaking with customers and colleagues both over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Able to work independently and learn new processes quickly.
  • Reliable, proactive and willing to support wherever required.
  • Calm under pressure with good organisational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable carrying out routine administrative tasks accurately and consistently.
  • A positive team player with a flexible approach to work.
  • Previous office administration experience is preferred, although candidates with strong organisational skills and the right attitude will also be considered.

Essential Requirements

  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.

Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm Friday: Early finish, dependent on business requirements.

Pay: £13.95 per hour
