Our client is seeking a proactive, highly organised and hands-on Office Facilities Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of their head office. This is a varied role combining facilities management, office operations, supplier relationships and IT coordination, with some executive support to senior leadership.

This is a broad and autonomous position where you'll be responsible for ensuring the office runs smoothly, efficiently and professionally, while providing a safe and welcoming working environment for employees and visitors.

Job Title: Office Facilities Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience

Location: Berkshire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of a busy head office, ensuring a safe, efficient and professional working environment
  • Take overall responsibility for facilities management including building maintenance, contractors, suppliers and workplace services
  • Coordinate office infrastructure, IT equipment and technology providers to ensure employees have the tools and support they need
  • Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers, ensuring services are delivered to a high standard and issues are resolved promptly
  • Manage office budgets, negotiate supplier contracts and monitor service performance
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, workplace policies, fire safety and risk management procedures
  • Identify and implement improvements to office processes, systems and ways of working
  • Lead the onboarding of new employees, coordinating workspace setup, equipment and office inductions
  • Oversee the general organisation, presentation and upkeep of the office and wider workplace environment
  • Coordinate office meetings, events and internal projects, acting as a central point of contact across the business
  • Provide support to senior leadership where required, including diary management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements and confidential administration
  • Prepare reports, presentations and meeting documentation as required
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, ensuring a high standard of service and smooth day-to-day operations

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience within office management, facilities management or a similar workplace-focused role
  • Strong knowledge and experience of facilities management, office services and IT coordination
  • Experience managing suppliers, contractors and associated budgets
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety, workplace compliance and risk management
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident managing multiple priorities and resolving issues independently
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Professional and discreet when dealing with confidential information
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to identify what needs doing and get it done
  • Experience of improving office processes and operational efficiency
