Office Manager – Data Centre Project

Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join a major Data Centre project in Blyth, Northumberland.

This is a site-based position responsible for ensuring the project office operates efficiently, supporting senior management and project teams, coordinating facilities and administration, and maintaining a professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the project office space, including refurbishments, layouts and general office requirements.
• Provide administrative support to senior management and department heads.
• Assist with the onboarding of new employees and site personnel.
• Develop, implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Organise and maintain data, spreadsheets, reports and project documentation.
• Manage office-related service agreements and suppliers.
• Oversee office systems, procedures and facilities to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the project office.
• Coordinate general office administration and day-to-day facilities requirements.
• Liaise with internal teams, contractors and external service providers as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Office Manager, Site Administrator, Project Administrator, Facilities Coordinator or similar.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• High level of attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Previous experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure, data centres or other major projects would be advantageous.
