Our client is looking for a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to join their team in the centre of Lincoln. This is a hands-on role that requires a confident individual with strong office management and administrative experience and the ability to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a busy office environment.

This is a full-time, office-based role, Monday to Friday, offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The successful candidate will initially complete a 3-month temporary probationary period, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position upon successful completion.

Salary

  • £13.00 per hour during the probationary period
  • Remuneration will be agreed and increased upon successful completion of 3 month probation and transition to a permanent contract

 Key Responsibilities

  • Creating, raising, managing, and chasing invoices accurately and efficiently (this is a core and essential part of the role)
  • Producing quotations and ensuring all documentation is completed with a high level of accuracy
  • Managing office operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office
  • Overseeing administrative processes and implementing improvements where needed
  • Maintaining organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
  • Managing emails, telephone enquiries, appointments, and general correspondence
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams in a professional manner
  • Monitoring office supplies and coordinating office requirements
  • Using initiative to solve problems, improve processes, and think outside the box
  • Supporting management with reporting, data entry, and office-related projects
  • Ensuring all records and financial documentation are maintained accurately

Requirements

  • Previous Office Manager experience is essential
  • Proven experience creating, raising, managing, and chasing invoices is essential
  • Experience of using SAP or a similar ERP system would be advantageous
  • Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident using computer systems and office software packages
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise a varied workload
  • Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner
  • A proactive approach with the ability to think outside the box and identify solutions
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fast learner with excellent computer literacy and administrative capabilities
