Location: Home-based, with rare visits to local offices 
Salary: £35k - £40k pro rata 
Hours: 18 – 22.5 hours per week

About the Role 
Our client is looking for an organised and reliable Office Manager to join their team. This is primarily a home-based position, focused on providing day-to-day administrative support and helping ensure the office functions efficiently. 
The role would suit someone who is highly organised, confident managing a varied workload and comfortable working independently from home. 

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Manage general office administration and HR administration, supporting the smooth running of the office.  
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date and confidential employee records, personnel files and company databases.  
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including preparation of relevant documentation.  
  • Maintain and monitor holiday, absence and sickness records, providing information for payroll and management as required.  
  • Prepare HR documents, reports and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.  
  • Manage emails, correspondence and telephone enquiries, acting as a key point of contact for staff and external stakeholders.  
  • Organise and maintain paperwork, records and documentation, ensuring information is easily accessible.  
  • Support managers and colleagues with day-to-day HR and personnel queries and administration.  
  • Coordinate staff meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas and taking minutes where required.  
  • Administer DBS checks and mandatory training records, ensuring relevant requirements are maintained.  
  • Assist with purchasing, office supplies, suppliers and general office organisation.  
  • Help develop and maintain efficient administrative processes and office systems.  
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately, confidentially and within required deadlines.  
 
About You 
  • Previous experience in office administration, office management, HR administration or a similar role.  
  • Previous HR experience, with a good understanding of employee administration and general HR processes.  
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail.  
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and general computer systems.  
  • Able to work independently, manage priorities and take a proactive approach.  
  • Professional and trustworthy when handling confidential employee information.  
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
