This is a varied and hands-on role responsible for the day-to-day running of the office, supporting facilities, fleet coordination, health and safety, reception overflow, and wider operational administration. The successful Office Manager will play a key role in ensuring the office environment remains safe, well-organised, and fully operational, while also supporting project teams and internal stakeholders with a range of practical and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, supplies, and equipment
  • Oversee service contracts, subscriptions, and supplier relationships
  • Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and utilities
  • Manage general office health and safety administration and compliance
  • Oversee company vehicle fleet servicing, maintenance, and records
  • Support reception overflow, phone enquiries, and front-of-house duties
  • Coordinate accommodation bookings and meeting space arrangements
  • Assist with company events, internal functions, and general office queries

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Previous experience in an Office Manager, Facilities, or Operations role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident liaising with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable balancing planned responsibilities with reactive tasks
  • Proactive, practical, and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Calm, adaptable, and service-oriented attitude
