Sue Ross Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established national professional services organisation in the recruitment of an Office Services Co-ordinator.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a busy and collaborative support function, providing high-quality operational and administrative support across multiple service areas. Working within a fast-paced corporate environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of office services and delivering an exceptional internal customer experience.

Reporting to the Office Services Support Manager, you will work closely with a small team of co-ordinators, supporting a variety of functions including workplace services, reception, events, hospitality, communications and facilities. This is a varied role requiring excellent organisation, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and triaging requests received through shared service inboxes.
  • Co-ordinating and monitoring a high volume of service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Providing administrative support to managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to co-ordinate services and resolve issues.
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of corporate events and hospitality functions.
  • Assisting with procurement activities, including ordering office supplies and equipment.
  • Processing purchase documentation, maintaining records and supporting expenditure tracking.
  • Assisting with office moves, refurbishments and workplace improvement projects.
  • Maintaining accurate service records, schedules and operational data.
  • Providing support and cover for colleagues to ensure continuity of service.

The successful candidate will be an organised and proactive administrator with experience gained within a professional or corporate environment.

You will possess:

  • Previous office administration or co-ordination experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience supporting budgets, expenditure tracking or supplier management would be advantageous.
  • A team-focused approach and commitment to delivering outstanding service.

What’s on offer:

  • Salary of £27,000
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm
  • Sheffield city centre based office location
