Land and Sea Resources are recruiting for an experienced Offshore Scheduler to join a major energy operator based at Barrow-in-Furness Gas Terminal. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for an Offshore Scheduler looking to play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and reliable offshore maintenance operations.

As an Offshore Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimising offshore maintenance activities, ensuring preventive and corrective work is effectively planned and executed. The successful Offshore Scheduler will work closely with Maintenance, Operations, Technicians, and Vendors to deliver integrated maintenance schedules that maximise asset availability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and frozen offshore maintenance schedules.
  • Prioritise maintenance activities based on safety, production impact, and resource availability.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Team Leads, Operations, Technicians, and Vendors to ensure work is ready for execution.
  • Ensure compliance with Work Management processes and maintenance governance.
  • Monitor maintenance backlog and support the timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Facilitate daily and weekly scheduling meetings.
  • Optimise work execution by coordinating personnel, materials, logistics, and resources.
  • Provide schedule performance updates and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Promote a strong Incident Free Workplace culture while maintaining high HSE standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Offshore Scheduler, Maintenance Scheduler, or in a similar offshore planning role.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles.
  • Experience using SAP and scheduling software such as Prometheus or Primavera.
  • Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance practices.
  • Ability to prioritise work based on operational risk, asset criticality, and production requirements.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or another Engineering discipline.
  • Offshore certification such as BOSIET and MIST is desirable.
  • Previous experience within an offshore Oil & Gas or Energy environment is preferred.
