Are you an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager looking for the opportunity to build a children's home from the ground up?

We are seeking a passionate and driven Registered Manager to lead the launch of a brand-new Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) Children's Residential Home in Hither Green, South East London. This is a unique opportunity to shape the culture, recruit your own team, and create a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.

What We Offer
  • £70,000 annual salary
  • £1,000 bonus upon successful Ofsted registration*
  • £5,000 bonus when the home reaches full occupancy*

Key Responsibilities
  • Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager for the home.
  • Lead the successful opening and day-to-day management of the service.
  • Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing care team.
  • Ensure the home operates in full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations.
  • Create a therapeutic, child-centred environment that promotes positive outcomes.
  • Develop strong relationships with local authorities, professionals, families and external agencies.
  • Monitor quality, compliance and safeguarding to achieve outstanding standards.
About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager within a Children's Residential Home.
  • A proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspections.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete if required).
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding legislation and children's residential care regulations.
  • The passion and resilience to lead a new service from registration through to full occupancy.
