OHL Operative

VGC Group are recruiting for the following position:

Role – SSE General Operative 

Location – Elgin (IV30 6GR), Beauly to Blackhillock 400kV New Build 110km

Salary/Rate – £18.35 (PAYE) + Holiday Pay. Weekend overtime £27.53

Duration – 6 Months, Start avaliable from Monday 29th June 

Overview: We are looking for an OHL operative for work on a major overhead line scheme in Elgin. Site work 50 hours Monday - Friday and Weekend work avaliable. 

Required Experience: Previous experience in OHL and energy enviroments desirable. Must be physically fit 

Manditory Qualifications:

- EUSR Utility SHEA Power 

- Plant & Vehicle Marshall (PVM)

- Slinger/Signaller 

Desirible Qualifications (Training can be provided)

- Manual Handling 

- HAVS Training 

- Emergency First Aid at Work 

- COSHH Awareness 

- Fire Safety Awareness
