Onboarding Advisor Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C

As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years. This role will be within the CWA Wide Section.

What will you do?

The Onboarding Advisor will help create a positive, efficient, and welcoming experience for people joining the CWA. Working with colleagues across recruitment, HR, people services, and operational teams, the role will coordinate onboarding activity and ensure new starters receive the information, support, and documentation needed to begin their roles successfully.

The successful candidate will act as a reliable point of contact throughout the onboarding journey, keeping activities on track, maintaining accurate records, and responding promptly to queries. The role will suit an organised and people-focused professional who enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment and is motivated by helping colleagues feel prepared and included from their first interaction with the organisation.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in onboarding, recruitment coordination, HR administration, people services, or a similar support-focused role
  • Ability to coordinate multiple onboarding activities, deadlines, and stakeholders accurately and efficiently
  • Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to maintaining records and completing documentation
  • Clear, professional communication skills, with the confidence to engage with new starters, hiring managers, and internal teams
  • A responsive and service-focused approach, with the ability to handle queries sensitively and professionally
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, consistent information
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, matrix-based environment and build positive working relationships
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems, with the ability to learn new processes and tools quickly
  • Understanding of confidentiality, data protection, and the importance of handling personal information appropriately
  • A proactive approach to identifying improvements that make the onboarding experience more effective and inclusive
