Job description 

The Online Product Lister plays a vital role in generating income for Scope to support disabled people and their families. A key part of this role is listing a variety of donated items for sale on Scope’s online selling channels.  

Location:Scope’s eCommerce Hub - Westlink Business Park, Salford,M50 1BX. 

Fixed term for 12 months, 35 hours a week.  

The hub operates from 8am - 8pm, Monday to Sunday. Some evening, weekend and Bank Holiday working will be required in line with eCommerce Hub operating hours.

The role 

In this role, you will: 

  • Produce clear, informative content to help customers understand and purchase products confidently. 

  • Work with a wide variety of items, including home and garden products, clothing, and seasonal goods such as cards and gifts. 

  • Handle a frequently changing product range, ensuring each listing is tailored appropriately. 

  • Create high-quality online listings by capturing accurate product photography and writing detailed, engaging descriptions. 

  • Carry out product research to ensure listings are accurate and reflect key features and benefits.

About you 

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • Good communication skills, with the ability to write clear, engaging, and accurate copy for product listings. 

  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all product information, descriptions, and images are accurate and of a high standard. 

  • Ability to carry out online product research effectively, using initiative to gather relevant and reliable information. 

  • Confident working towards daily targets, managing time and tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Good level of physical fitness, as the role involves regular manual handling and moving stock throughout the day.
