We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Operations Administrator to support the smooth running of our production operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with production, planning, and quality teams.
As an Operations Administrator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring production systems are accurate, operational data is up to date, and key information is communicated effectively across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate the correct stock to production lines using business systems and ensure production line screens are prepared for label printing.
- Generate production orders for all operational departments.
- Support the Production Planning team as required, including providing planning cover when needed.
- Produce comprehensive end-of-shift handover reports for the incoming shift and management team.
- Monitor data accuracy across operational systems, investigate discrepancies, and report findings.
- Review and close completed production orders, working with production teams to resolve any issues.
- Provide Quality Assurance with details of amber and red-rated production runs for shift reporting.
- Update operational dashboards and distribute daily production performance reports.
- Print product and date labels to support production requirements.
- Monitor production system performance throughout the shift, identifying and helping resolve issues before production runs are completed.
- Maintain and update production performance records throughout the day.
- Provide administrative support across the Operations function as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Essential
- A good standard of written and spoken English.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, and database systems.
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- The ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Experience working within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience supporting production planning or scheduling activities.
