Location: Royston
Salary: £14.40 – £14.90 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Our client is looking for an Operations Administrator to join their growing team in Royston. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration and organisational skills who enjoys working across purchasing, production and logistics.
The Role
40 hours per week
8-hour working day
Office hours are 7:00am – 5:00pm
Flexible start and finish times, for example 7:30am – 4:30pm or 8:00am – 5:00pm
Temp to Perm opportunity
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing and supplier performance
Managing the purchasing and production inboxes and associated administration
Processing received goods and ensuring accurate cost pricing
Completing delivery note administration and three-way matching
Carrying out regular stock reconciliations
Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records
Supporting project costing administration
Preparing factory paperwork, including labels and fitting instructions
Supporting logistics preparation, including gathering pallet dimensions and arranging transport
Providing cover for purchasing and planning during periods of absence and holidays
About You
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and organisational skills, with good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Experience within purchasing, production, logistics or a manufacturing environment would be beneficial, but is not essential.
