Operations Coordinator - Nights included in Bury

An established organisation with a nationwide customer network is looking to strengthen its operations team with a proactive and organised Operations Coordinator. Operating in a fast-paced, 24/7 service environment, the business prides itself on delivering exceptional support and rapid response to customer requirements around the clock.

Your new role
As an Operations Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring requests are managed efficiently and customers receive timely updates. Working on a rotating shift pattern covering both days and nights (8am-8pm and 8pm-8am), you'll act as a central point of contact, coordinating responses and maintaining service levels outside of standard business hours.

• Managing and coordinating activation notifications and call-outs.
• Liaising with suppliers and service partners to arrange attendance and response activities.
• Chasing and monitoring supplier attendance, obtaining ETA updates and communicating these to relevant stakeholders.
• Handling a variety of out-of-hours customer requests, ensuring they are actioned promptly and accurately.
• Updating internal systems with real-time information and maintaining detailed records of all activity.
• Escalating urgent issues where appropriate and ensuring they are resolved efficiently.
• Delivering a high level of customer service while prioritising multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a coordination, scheduling, dispatch, helpdesk, customer service or operations-based role.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in liaising with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to remain calm and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
• Strong IT skills and confidence using business systems.
• Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern covering both day and night shifts.
• A proactive and team-focused approach with a willingness to take ownership of issues through to resolution.
