The opportunity as Operations Director

You will lead a significant transformation at a precision manufacturing site in Dorset, with the scope to shape its culture, improve performance and make a lasting impact. You'll join the senior leadership team and work with stakeholders across an international business.

On behalf of our client, we're looking for a visible, hands-on Operations Director to lead production, planning, supply chain, quality, engineering and facilities. You'll improve delivery, embed Lean principles and build a "Right First Time" culture across the site.

To be considered for the role of Operations Director, you must have:

• A degree or equivalent qualification or experience.
• Director-level experience and current membership of a senior leadership team.
• At least 10 year's senior operational leadership experience in complex manufacturing, such as medical devices, aerospace or precision instrumentation.
• A proven record of improving quality, efficiency and team culture through shop-floor leadership.
