Joining at a time of significant expansion at its flagship East Midlands plant, you will be responsible for ensuring production targets are  achieved while fostering a high-performance culture and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the business. The Role

Provide strategic leadership across manufacturing and operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term growth plans.

Develop and execute operational strategies that deliver business objectives, optimise performance, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Drive a culture of process excellence, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Inspire, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering a high-performance culture.

Manage operational budgets, capital expenditure programmes and key performance indicators to maximise operational efficiency and return on investment.

Lead the introduction of significant CAPEX investment.

Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Programme Management, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to support new product introductions and business growth.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and the delivery of exceptional service and operational performance.

The Person

Proven senior leadership experience within highly regulated precision engineering and manufacturing environments.

Demonstrated success in leading large-scale manufacturing operations, delivering sustained improvements in productivity, quality, operational performance, and profitability.

Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement methodologies, and driving operational transformation initiatives.

Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all organisational levels.

Degree-qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline (preferred).
