The Role
As Operations Manager, you will work closely with senior leadership to oversee daily operations, optimise internal processes, and ensure exceptional service delivery across the organisation.
You'll play a pivotal role in coordinating departments, improving productivity, and ensuring the business continues to operate efficiently as it grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operational activities across multiple business functions.
- Develop, implement and improve operational processes to increase efficiency.
- Monitor business performance through KPIs, reporting and operational metrics.
- Lead, mentor and support operational teams to achieve business objectives.
- Coordinate internal resources to ensure projects and customer commitments are delivered successfully.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Technical, Service Delivery and Customer Success teams.
- Identify opportunities for automation, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Assist with forecasting, resource planning and operational budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and industry best practice.
- Support senior management with strategic planning and business improvement initiatives.
About You

Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an Operations Manager, Senior Operations, or similar leadership role.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Experience managing, motivating and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with experience producing operational reports and KPI analysis.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management systems.
- Previous experience within an IT, technology, MSP or technical services environment is highly desirable.
Desirable
- Experience implementing operational improvements or business transformation projects.
- Understanding of managed service delivery or technical operations.
- Knowledge of ISO standards or quality management systems.
- Prince2, Lean, Six Sigma or similar operational improvement qualifications.
