Operations Manager (Construction)

Operations Manager - Cladding & Facade RefurbishmentLocation: Birchwood (with travel across the North of England)

A well-established refurbishment and building maintenance contractor is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery of high-rise residential cladding and façade remediation projects across the North of England

This is a senior leadership role, responsible for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring safe and efficient delivery, managing operational teams, and driving programme performance across a portfolio of live works

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of high-rise cladding refurbishment and remediation projects
• Oversee Project Managers, Site Managers and delivery teams across multiple sites
• Develop, manage and monitor project programmes, ensuring key milestones and completion dates are achieved
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout project delivery
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
• Support pre-construction and commercial teams with planning, resource allocation and project strategy
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across the business

Requirements

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager position
• Strong background delivering high-rise residential cladding, façade remediation or external envelope refurbishment projects
• Experience building and managing construction programmes for complex high-rise projects
• Strong understanding and practical experience of NEC contracts
• Previous experience working within a refurbishment, maintenance or specialist façade/cladding contractor environment
• Excellent leadership, client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Strong commercial awareness and programme management capability.
