Operations Manager – Renewable Energy and Electrical Contracting
Newton, Carnforth, £40 – £45k per annum, DOE, plus company vehicle

The successful applicant must have previous hands-on experience working as an Electrician. This practical background is important because you will be coordinating electrical projects, supporting installation teams and helping ensure work is planned and delivered to a high standard.

What you’ll be involved in:
- Coordinating installation teams and Electricians so work runs smoothly
- Planning and scheduling projects to make the best use of time and resources
- Helping maintain high quality standards across all work
- Supporting materials ordering, stock availability and returns
- Liaising with customers to keep communication clear and professional
- Supporting staff and helping maintain a positive working environment
- Assisting with pricing, quotations and identifying chargeable extras
- Helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the business
What will help you succeed:
- Previous hands-on experience working as an Electrician
- Experience in operations, contracts management, project management or site supervision
- A background in electrical contracting, construction, renewable energy or a related industry
- Confidence planning work, coordinating people and managing multiple priorities
- Competence with administrative and scheduling tasks
- Good communication and customer service ability
- A practical, organised and solutions-focused approach
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Ability to work from 6:45am to 4:30pm
