Oracle Financials and Supply Chain Applications Specialist - Stevenage in Hertfordshire

£60,000 to £80,000 - plus bonus - plus car/car allowance

What will you be doing?


A Senior Product Analyst is required to support the stability, performance and continuous improvement of Oracle ERP platforms.
This role will focus on Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, ensuring systems operate efficiently and meet business needs. Work will be delivered in line with ITIL processes, with strong emphasis on service quality and user experience.
Close collaboration will take place with Product Owners, Business Analysts and third-party providers.

Key Responsibilities
Advanced application support will be delivered across the ERP estate.

Responsibilities will include:

  • 3rd line support provided in line with ITIL processes and best practice
  • Business requirements translated into clear technical specifications
  • System enhancements planned, tested and implemented with minimal disruption
  • Oracle ERP configuration, data setup and migration overseen
  • Incidents and service requests managed through ITSM tools
  • Application issues diagnosed, resolved and root causes identified
  • Third-party suppliers managed to meet SLAs and quality standards
  • Technical documentation maintained and kept up to date
  • Knowledge bases developed to support ongoing service delivery
  • GDPR-compliant data management maintained at all times
  • Input provided into product roadmap and future system enhancements

What you'll bring
Candidates will demonstrate strong experience across Oracle ERP environments and application support.

Essential experience:
Around 5 years' experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12

Functional knowledge including:

Finance

  • Supply Chain (Inventory, Order Management)
  • Project Costing and Billing
  • iProcurement and Purchasing
  • Time and Labour
  • Warehouse Management (including Mobile Web Applications)
  • Experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications
  • Experience within a service-led, SLA-driven environment
  • Strong problem solving and analytical capability
  • Experience working with ITIL processes and application lifecycle management

Key skills:

  • Clear and confident communication at all levels
  • Ability to present complex information in a simple way
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building
  • Well organised, proactive and detail focused approach

Additional information
The role is to replace an individual, and this role will primarily operate from the Head office in Stevenage, for which the successful candidate is expected to be onsite for at least 2 days per week at their primary location (Stevenage) with occasional travel to Warwickshire.

The successful candidate is preferred to start from 1st August 2026; however this is flexible.

Monday to Friday - Must live in close proximity to Stevenage - 37.5 Hours per Week. Hours 9 - 5 or 9 - 5.30pm (Depending on Length of Lunch Break)

Candidate must be able to pass security clearance for the role.

No Overtime - however TOIL as may be required to work additional hours on occasions, including Saturdays.

🎓 1. Education

  • Degree in:
    • Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or Supply Chain
  • Relevant coursework/modules:
    • ERP systems, finance systems, logistics, or database management
  • Postgraduate qualification (desirable but not essential)

💼 2. Work Experience
Core Experience

  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Oracle Financials (e.g. GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
    • Oracle Supply Chain / SCM modules (e.g. Procurement, Inventory, Order Management)
  • Supporting or administering Oracle ERP (EBS or Oracle Cloud)

Depth & Relevance

  • Evidence of:
    • Configuration and system support (not just end-user usage)
    • Working with business stakeholders (finance, procurement teams)
    • Incident management and troubleshooting

Implementation/Projects

  • Participation in:
    • Oracle ERP implementations, upgrades, or migrations
    • Process improvement or transformation initiatives

🛠️ 3. Key Technical Skills

  • Oracle ERP (EBS or Fusion Cloud)
  • SQL / PL-SQL (for data analysis or troubleshooting)
  • Reporting tools (e.g. BI Publisher, OTBI, SQL reports)
  • Integration tools (APIs, interfaces, middleware experience)
  • Understanding of:
    • Finance processes (record-to-report, procure-to-pay)
    • Supply chain workflows

    • Oracle Financials Cloud / E-Business Suite
