Oracle Tax Functional Consultant | Remote Contract Opportunity

Length: Initial 6 months

I am working with a client currently looking for an experienced Oracle Tax Functional Consultant to support the delivery of Oracle ERP implementation projects, with a particular focus on indirect tax functionality.

This is a hands-on contract opportunity suited to someone with strong experience configuring and implementing Oracle EBS R12 eBTax and/or Oracle Fusion Tax, who is comfortable taking ownership of functional delivery from initial requirements through to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the functional delivery of Oracle Tax implementations, working across the full project lifecycle.
• Gather and analyse business requirements, translating these into effective Oracle Tax solutions.
• Configure indirect tax functionality, including tax rules, rates, determination and associated processes.
• Manage solution design, configuration, testing, troubleshooting and deployment activities.
• Work directly with stakeholders to resolve functional challenges and ensure successful implementation.
• Provide technical and functional guidance to wider project teams where required.

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on implementation experience with Oracle EBS R12 eBTax and/or Oracle Fusion Tax.
• Proven ability to independently design, configure and deliver Oracle Tax solutions.
• Good understanding of indirect tax processes, particularly VAT/GST.
• Experience delivering end-to-end Oracle ERP implementations, including requirements gathering, design, build, testing and deployment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly around tax configuration and determination.
• Confident engaging directly with stakeholders and managing functional delivery independently.

The Opportunity

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of Oracle Tax functional delivery, working on implementation projects requiring specialist configuration and problem-solving expertise.

We are particularly interested in consultants who have personally configured and implemented Oracle Tax solutions, rather than those whose experience has primarily involved managing or overseeing a functional workstream.

UK remote working is available.
