Salary: £25,272 per annum (£13.50 per hour)
Location: Dorset
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time, Nights
Working Hours
36 hours per week, worked across four nights:
- Monday: 9:00pm - 6:00am
- Tuesday: 9:00pm - 6:00am
- Thursday: 9:00pm - 6:00am
- Friday: 7:00pm - 6:00am
(A 30-minute unpaid break is included within each shift)
Overview
The Flavour Network is excited to be working with a well-established foodservice business in Dorset who are looking to appoint an Order Processor & Administrator to join their busy Night Sales Office team.
This is a great opportunity for a highly organised and detail-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in getting things right.
As the Order Processor / Administrator, you’ll be responsible for accurately processing customer orders received via voicemail and email, while also providing general administrative support and acting as a point of contact for queries from the night production team.
This role requires excellent listening skills, strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, as you’ll be dealing with customer orders and information that needs to be entered correctly and within tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities for the Order Processor & Administrator
- Accurately input customer orders onto the company IT system.
- Retrieve and process orders received via customer voicemail and email.
- Listen carefully to customer messages and accurately interpret order information.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
- Carry out general administrative duties, including scanning, photocopying and document preparation.
- Assist with the production and distribution of customer price lists.
- Respond professionally to queries from the night production department.
- Ensure all orders and administrative work are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
- Support the wider team with additional administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain a professional and helpful approach when dealing with queries and information.
Requirements for the Order Processor & Administrator
- Previous experience within administration, order processing, data entry or customer service.
- Previous experience within the food or foodservice industry would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good numerical and data entry skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a good standard of English.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to interpret information accurately.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and work efficiently under pressure.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to use initiative when required.
- The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- A reliable and professional approach to work.
- The ability to work independently as part of a busy night team.
