Outage Planning Engineer

The Outage Planning Engineer will maintain plans during outage execution phase by updating progress, tracking critical path, building in and managing the impact of emergent work and identifying any errors / improvements required in the plan.
Working with Operations to check and revise plans to maintain Tech Spec and other compliance requirements and to maximise ‘Defence in Depth’
Play a role in post outage reviews, in particular by capturing all relevant OPEX from plan delivery and building the learning into future plans
Provide support to Lead Planner / Outage Co-ordinator
Identify and help to deliver outage optimisation opportunities
Support activities to deliver Pre Outage Milestone Plans (POMP) for both statutory and off load refuelling outages
Essential
HNC in engineering or relevant technical subject
Knowledge of basic planning principles
Able to coordinate across different teams and with different companies and contractors
Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Planning experience would be a distinct advantage, especially someone that has used Primevera P6
