Outreach Mentor – Kingston upon Thames

Location: Borough of Kingston upon Thames
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
Pay rate: £110–£120 per day
Start date: Immediate start (ASAP)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Outreach Mentor to work within the borough of Kingston upon Thames, supporting young people and helping them engage positively with education and their wider community.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring and guidance to young people.
• Support students with engagement, attendance, behaviour and personal development.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
• Encourage participation in education and structured activities.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and other professionals.
• Help create a safe, supportive and positive environment.

Requirements

• A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (DBS on the Update Service) is essential.
• Experience working with young people in an educational, mentoring or support role is desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A patient, reliable and proactive approach.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm.
• Must be available to start ASAP.
