You’ll have the independence of running your own business, supported by one of Europe’s largest parcel delivery networks. DPD will provide the training, technology and ongoing depot support you need to get out on the road and make your business a success.
No previous delivery experience is required. If you have a valid UK driving licence and the right attitude, DPD will help you become road ready.
What you’ll be doing
As a DPD Owner Driver operating from the Bicester depot, you will:
- Complete deliveries and collections on an allocated route, receiving payment for both
- Load and unload your vehicle at the depot
- Deliver parcels safely, efficiently and on time
- Use DPD’s technology to manage your route and deliveries
- Provide a friendly, professional service to customers
- Take responsibility for running your own business, including your tax and insurance contributions
- Represent the DPD brand within the local community

What you’ll need
To become a DPD Owner Driver, you will need:
- A valid UK driving licence held for at least 12 months
- No more than six points on your driving licence
- To be aged 18 or over for insurance purposes
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A reliable, professional and positive approach
- The resilience and determination needed to run your own business
- The ability to work five days per week, including a Saturday or Sunday
