Role – P6 Site Planner (Contract)

Mint Selection are supporting an Independent Power Producer (IPP) who are seeking an experienced P6 Site Planner on a contract basis to support the construction and delivery of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project.

This is a hands-on site-based role, supporting the project team with programme management, progress reporting and schedule coordination to ensure the project remains on track throughout construction.

Scope of Work

  • Develop, maintain and update Primavera P6 project programmes
  • Monitor construction progress against programme and identify schedule risks
  • Produce look-ahead programmes and weekly/monthly progress reports
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager and contractors to coordinate site activities
  • Identify critical path activities and recommend programme recovery actions where required
  • Support planning meetings and provide programme updates to key stakeholders
  • Ensure planning information accurately reflects site progress and project milestones

Experience to be Considered

  • Proven experience as a P6 Planner or Site Planner on major infrastructure or energy projects
  • Strong Primavera P6 planning experience
  • Previous experience supporting construction projects on site
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience within BESS, renewable energy, power, utilities or major infrastructure projects desirable

Certifications & Requirements

  • Strong Primavera P6 proficiency
  • Relevant planning, engineering or construction qualification preferred
  • Ability to work independently whilst supporting the wider project team
  • Full UK driving licence

This is an opportunity with an immediate start available.
