Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Package Repair Coordinator to manage and oversee the repair processes of various packages. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all repair activities are executed efficiently and that customer satisfaction is maintained throughout the process. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and exceptional communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the package repair process from receipt to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate repairs and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs, including tracking progress and documenting any issues or delays.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their repairs, providing updates and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Analyse repair processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and quality of service.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior staff members involved in the repair process.
  • Prepare regular reports on repair activities, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within logistics or package repair environments.
  • Strong understanding of repair processes and quality control standards.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software relevant to package tracking and repair management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree or relevant certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
