Contract length: 12 month contract
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Package Repair Coordinator to join a World leader offering Products, Solutions and Services across the entire Energy value chain on behalf of a well established manufacturing organisation to play a key role in supporting Manufacturing Operations. You will shape a competitive, sustainable supply chain, partnering globally to drive productivity, quality, and digitalization. You will be primarily responsible for delivering end-to-end overhaul of package equipment within our supply network, with a focus toward larger capital equipment. Once delivered the overhauled equipment is available for scheduled maintenance requirements.
Some of the duties will include but are not limited to:

Manage the complete rebuild and repair process of package equipment with a specific focus on larger capital equipment within the supply network.

Ensure that once equipment is overhauled, it is readily available to meet upcoming scheduled maintenance requirements.

Issue formal tender requirements to the vendor network to gather repair quotes.

Engage closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing, search for cost-saving opportunities, and secure the best financial solutions for the business.

Manage the repair timeline by establishing regular contact and touchpoints with suppliers based on individual contract requirements.

Review adjusted price quotes from suppliers that are updated based on what was found during the initial inspection.

Examine initial equipment teardown and inspection reports alongside the supplier and Service Engineers.

Evaluate and determine the most successful and economically viable external suppliers to handle specific overhaul projects .

Deliver ad-hoc overhauls for equipment owned directly by customers as a secondary function.
Essential Requirements:

A solid grounding or background in Engineering is highly desirable to understand the technical aspects of the machinery, inspection reports, and witness testing.

Must be a dynamic individual with a proven ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision.

Strong interpersonal skills to successfully integrate and work cross-functionally with various internal departments (including Aftermarket Planning, Engineering, Finance, Site Returns, Warehousing, Spares Engineering, and Fault Report Teams)..

Ability to manage external vendors, keep track of contract requirements, and maintain appropriate touchpoints throughout the repair process.

Capability to issue tender requirements, engage with a vendor network, and negotiate effectively to determine the best cost-out solutions.

Willingness and ability to travel to supplier sites to attend witness tests for capital equipment when required.
Desirable Requirements:

A solid grounding or qualification in Engineering is explicitly noted as highly desirable for this role.

Prior exposure to managing or coordinating larger, high-value capital equipment overhauls rather than just small standard parts.

Experience or capability in identifying and developing new opportunities to increase the consumption and reuse of overhauled parts.

Ability to confidently review technical inspection reports and final documentation alongside suppliers and service engineers.
