39 Hours per Week Monday to Friday (Plus Overtime Opportunities)

Packing Manager required for a leading manufacturing company with a history of over 35 years. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable business where you will play an integral role.

This role would suit candidates with experience leading teams in packing, production or despatch environments. Candidates from any manufacturing industry are encouraged to apply.

The Packing Manager will be responsible leading the packing and despatch team of four ensure high quality products are securely packed and quality checked for shipping. This will be a largely hands on role where team leadership and coordination will also remain key.

The Packing Manager Role:

·         Hands on and managerial - supervising and train a team of four, plus additional agency staff

·         Allocate daily tasks based on production schedules

·         Inspect finished goods for defects, damages or missing items

·         Utilise materials such as foam edging and bubble wrap to safely secure items

·         Communication between teams and coordinate with the Warehouse Manager timeframes for despatch and generate shipping labels

·         Overtime where required

·         Planning and attention to detail
 

The Packing Manager Candidate:

·         Supervisory experience

·         Manufacturing experience – production, packing, despatch etc.

·         Problem solver
