Packing Operative – Dewsbury

We are currently recruiting for Packing Operatives to join our client, a busy packaging and manufacturing company based in Dewsbury.

Working as part of the production team, you will be involved in the packing and assembly of a range of high-quality packaging products. The role would suit someone who is practical, reliable and able to work accurately in a busy production environment.

The Role

• Packing and assembling finished packaging products
• Carrying out basic production and assembly tasks
• Checking products for quality and ensuring they meet required standards
• Following production instructions and customer specifications
• Preparing completed products for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working area
• Following company health and safety procedures at all times
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets

About You

• Previous experience in a packing, production or manufacturing environment is desirable
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work at pace while maintaining accuracy and quality
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks
• Good team-working skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Previous packaging experience would be advantageous but is not essential
