Packaging Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Packaging Supervisor to join a busy manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day packing operation to ensure production targets are met.
• Lead, support and motivate the packing team.
• Ensure products are packed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Make sure packing areas are fully stocked and ready to support production.
• Monitor productivity and identify ways to improve performance and efficiency.
• Complete daily reports and provide updates to management.
• Manage staffing levels to meet production plans.
• Train new and existing team members and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Maintain accurate stock control and production records.
• Approve holidays and support absence management to ensure adequate cover.
• Carry out return-to-work meetings and annual performance reviews.
• Promote excellent housekeeping and ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Attend weekly operations meetings and support continuous improvement projects.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing or production.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work to deadlines and production targets.
• Confident using production data and reports.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Health & Safety awareness within a manufacturing environment.
