Overview

I'm currently recruiting for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a specialist school in North London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established multidisciplinary therapy team supporting children and young people with complex physical disabilities, learning disabilities and additional needs. You'll manage your own clinical caseload, carrying out assessments, developing intervention programmes and working closely with education staff, families and other therapists to help pupils achieve the best possible outcomes. The school also benefits from dedicated OT clinic rooms, classrooms and a wide range of specialist therapeutic equipment to support your practice.

You'll be joining a highly supportive therapy team where collaborative working is at the heart of the service, with excellent opportunities for continued professional development.

Requirements

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Essential experience working within paediatrics, including supporting children and young people with complex needs
• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience completing assessments, intervention planning and contributing to EHCPs
• Strong assessment, communication and report writing skills
• Enhanced DBS (we can put this in process for you)
