PAINT SPRAYER / PAINT TECHNICIAN

THE ROLE
As a Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician, you'll be responsible for preparing and refinishing vehicles, ensuring repairs are completed to a high standard and achieve a professional finish.

Key responsibilities include:
·Preparing vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming.
·Mixing and applying paint using appropriate spray equipment and techniques.
·Carrying out colour matching, blending, and refinishing work to achieve a high-quality finish.
·Inspecting completed paintwork and rectifying imperfections where required.
·Working closely with Panel Beaters and other workshop colleagues to maintain an efficient repair process.
·Completing allocated work within agreed timescales without compromising quality.
·Following relevant health and safety procedures when handling paints, solvents, and workshop equipment.
·Maintaining spray equipment, tools, and the working area to a clean and professional standard.

ABOUT YOU
This role would suit an experienced Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician / Paint Refinisher / Vehicle Painter who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes.

You'll ideally have:
·Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer or Paint Technician within a Bodyshop or accident repair environment.
·Recognised qualification in Vehicle Refinishing (NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds / ATA or equivalent), with a commitment to continuous professional development.
·Strong knowledge of modern vehicle paint systems and refinishing techniques.
·Experience with preparation, colour matching, blending, and paint application.
·Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
·The ability to work efficiently while maintaining consistently high standards.
·Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
·A full UK driving licence.
