THE ROLE
As an Experienced Paint Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation, painting and refinishing of accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring every repair is completed to a consistently high standard.

Working as part of an experienced bodyshop team, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality repairs while maintaining excellent attention to detail, productivity and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
·Prepare vehicle panels for paint, including sanding, masking, priming and surface preparation
·Carry out paint spraying and refinishing to a consistently high standard
·Undertake colour matching, blending and polishing to achieve seamless finishes
·Inspect completed repairs and rectify any imperfections where required
·Work closely with Panel Technicians, MET Technicians and Workshop Controllers to ensure efficient vehicle throughput
·Maintain paint equipment, tools and work areas to a clean and professional standard
·Follow manufacturer repair methods, bodyshop quality standards and Health & Safety procedures
·Complete repairs within agreed production times while maintaining exceptional workmanship

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced and quality-focused Paint Technician who takes pride in their workmanship and has a genuine eye for detail.

·Proven experience as a Paint Technician, Paint Sprayer or Paint Refinisher within an automotive bodyshop
·Strong knowledge of modern vehicle paint systems and refinishing techniques
·Experienced in preparation, spraying, colour matching, blending and polishing
·Ability to consistently produce high-quality, factory-standard finishes
·Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
·Able to work efficiently within a busy accident repair environment
·Strong team player with a professional and positive attitude
·IMI and/or ATA qualifications advantageous
·Full UK Driving Licence preferred
